We’ve teamed up with our neighbor, Gary Morgan, to create a biker-friendly getaway with secure parking, air-conditioned rooms, and a spacious backyard soon offering camping, ablutions, and an outdoor kitchen (ready by March 1). A portion of the revenue supports an orphanage in Aberdeen and local gospel initiatives.
With no boundary between our properties, larger groups can enjoy the lapa, braai areas, and a pool—perfect after a long ride. Whether solo or with a tour group, you’ll find camaraderie and comfort under the Karoo sky.

Opening on March 1, our cozy Check Mate Coffee Café adds a flavorful layer to every visit. From a quick espresso for bikers refueling mid-ride to leisurely breakfasts for families, it’s a space where new friendships form and locals mingle with travelers. The aroma of fresh coffee, paired with stunning Karoo sunsets, makes for an unforgettable pause in your journey.
